Feminine.

Today in church the lesson was on the role of being a Daughter of God. It was amazing. Isn't it so sad to see that the role of a woman has been completely flip-flopped by the world? Women of the world have lost sight of what it means to be a woman because they fight so hard to be viewed the exact same as men. They want to be equal in everything. Although I do agree with this idea to an extent, I still think that the roles of men and women are two totally separate things that shouldn't be can't be competed with. Each role has so many different wonderful things to offer that the other role can't provide. Combining the masculine role of the male and the feminine role of the woman can literally create magic. Together it is such a beautiful things. It is so sad to see so many women losing sight of how divine it is to be a woman. But it is also so comforting to see amazing women of this Gospel! I look at people like my mom, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends and say "she is truly a daughter of God. She is beautiful, classy and feminine and so proud of that." What if all women had this mind set? Wouldn't the world be such a beautiful place? I am in love with this quote. IN LOVE. My new years resolution is to become the daughter of God that my Heavenly Father wants me to be, because if I become that, it will encompase everything else I want to become. This quote depicts exactly what I'm feeling and what I want to become......

"Women of God can never be like women of the world.

The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender.

There are enough women who are course; we need women who are kind.

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined.

We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith.

We have enough greed; we need goodness.

We have enough vanity; we need virtue.

We have enough popularity; we need purity."

Thank you for teaching the world what women of God are like.
